Large Bridge CMM

MAXIMA can accommodate large and heavy workpieces, typically found in automotive, aerospace and industrial applications – without the need for special CMM foundations.

MAXIMA is available with a granite table, or the MAXIMA R with twin granite rails. The open design of the MAXIMA R provides safe and efficient access when loading/unloading parts using a floor level transfer system. Workpieces can be easily loaded from the front or rear of the machine, without the risk of collisions between the workpiece and machine. This increases loading and programming flexibility, giving time savings in inspection and overall production cycles.

Large Scale Bridge CMM (2m-4m)

The LK Metrology Maxima, large bridge CMM range, is based on the same proven design concepts of the high accuracy LK Metrology CMM product portfolio. Continuing the unique use of bonded ceramic materials, for the high performing beam and spindle construction, with near perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio and greater resistance to time, wear and temperature variations; providing consistent performance across all manufacturing environments even for very large-scale metrology applications.

The Maxima range offers three machine variants with a standard work-table version, a twin runway design, namely the R version and as a single raised shoulder version for easier loading and unloading of very long mechanical components. All variants are based upon a common modular design concept providing high performance, reliability and an easy to maintain measuring system.

The unique LK Metrology, proprietary design, low gap high efﬁciency air bearings and zero hysteresis drive systems ensure the premium quality, high accuracy and throughput of Maxima CMM to meet the varying needs of manufacturers, today and in the future.

The Maxima systems range allows for high accuracy measurements usually only associated with much smaller measuring envelopes, while also supporting a variety of probing solutions including touch-trigger, contact scanning and non-contact laser scanning. This advanced multi-sensor ready technology, which in the SCANTEK version features RENISHAW REVO AND MODUS accessories, optimizes the CMM throughput and provides the opportunity to broaden the application scope to new materials and components as Customer needs change. Innovative software work-flows and intuitive features facilitate complex inspection tasks and boost productivity.
